Meet the Team at Fairfield Family Dentistry

Sara L. Skrabl, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Sara started out as a dental assistant in 2006. She attended the Fones School of Dental Hygiene where she graduated as a registered dental hygienist in 2011. Dr. Sara then graduated summa cum laude from Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor's in biology in 2013. She went on to attend the UConn School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with her DMD degree in 2019. She lives in Derby and enjoys cooking, reading, hiking with her dog, and napping with her cat.

​In addition to attending yearly ADA and CSDA meetings and monthly local dental association meetings, Dr. Sara stays up to date on all the current research and literature pertaining to the practice of general dentistry. She is a member of the ADA, CSDA, and is a past president of the Bridgeport Dental Association.​

Dr. Sara takes pride in her ability to connect with patients from all walks of life. Her goal is to make patients comfortable, take the stress out of dentistry, and provide a great experience for every patient. She also loves volunteering dental services in CT and abroad. She participates in the yearly CT Mission of Mercy and has been on dental service trips to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and South Dakota, with more trips in the works.

Suzanne C., RDH

Dental Hygienist

Sue has been with our office for over 40 years, starting as dental assistant to Dr. John Rademacher. Sue attended the Fones School of Dental Hygiene, and after graduating in 2009, she returned to work as a registered dental hygienist. Sue has known some of our patients for more than 30 years and always enjoys catching up with everyone at their recall appointments. Sue is a life-long Milford resident and enjoys antiquing and spending time with family.

Isabel

Receptionist and Billing Specialist

Isabel works at our front desk where she is responsible for scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, patient communication, and coordinating with insurance.

Isabel enjoys her weekends trying new things in the city and walking trails with her two chow chows.

Kayla

Lead Dental Assistant

Kayla has been a dental assistant for over 10 years. She has experience in x-rays, orthodontics, oral surgery, and general dentistry. She enjoys educating our patients about their oral health and serving as a supportive presence during treatment. She takes pride in helping ease patients' anxieties, making their time in the dental chair a more relaxed and reassuring experience. Outside of work, Kayla loves traveling with her family and being a proud mom to her adorable son. 

Roxy

Chief Morale Officer

Roxy is our office mascot and emotional support ambassador. She can be found sleeping 8 hours a day in Dr. Sara's office, only emerging (by request) for pets and treats. Roxy especially loves kids and children/adults with special needs.
